I am the owner of Ashburn Tree. I live here in Ashburn and I am active in the community. I am an ISA Certified Arborist, and have extensive training and experience in the practice of Arboriculture. With the goal of helping my neighbors care for and manage their trees, I started Ashburn Tree in 2017. I strive to offer the highest quality service at a fair price.

Service Area
Ashburn Tree serves Ashburn Virginia and surrounding areas, including Leesburg, Sterling, and South Riding. Service calls outside of this service area are accepted on a case-by-case basis. Exceptions are made primarily based on scheduling availability. During certain times of year, particularly winter, scheduling availability opens up. Spring and fall tend to be the busiest. In staying local, we are able to offer the highest quality of service to our community, while remaining efficient and competitively priced. When we do receive a request that we cannot service, we try to respond with a referral to another tree company that we know to be reputable.

Material Removal
Unless otherwise stated in a proposal, Ashburn Tree will remove all resulting material from tree removal and pruning operations. In most tree removal operations, especially in a landscape setting, disposition of resulting material is an important aspect of the job. Typically this means removal of the material, but there may be other options. Alternatives to material removal include:
- Leave-Lay – Material is simply left in place. This could be to remain there permanently, or allow someone else to take care of it as a way of managing costs.
- Processing – Tree parts are cut into pieces that are manageable, safe to leave in place, or cut to a specified dimension such as firewood length.
- Placement – Material is moved to a different location at the same site, possibly out of sight, somewhere to be repurposed, piled or stacked for firewood.
The ultimate destination of material removed from arboricultural operations should be where it will be a benefit to the environment and the local community, rather than a burden. Most tree care companies find sustainable ways to recycle arboricultural waste material, including creating mulch, compost, or firewood.
